THE ROLE

At UOP LST Digital Services, this will be an important role to build the UOP digital platforms. Senior Advanced Chemical Engr is responsible for the project management, development, and implementation of a key UOP digital services like Process Monitor, PTAs, EBA and Benchmarking products. These digital platforms allow UOP to visualize and analyze data from a variety of sources, both internal and external. They are important components to our digital offerings. As project manager, he/she will be coordinating with the UOP service lead, IT, and development teams to establish that these platforms meet users' requirements and development tasks are appropriately lined up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful and timely implementation of UOP digital services and applications on customer process units. Be Agile, innovative, and customer-focused are the key elements in this position.
Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation and tracking project implementation efforts for each resource for each project.
Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
Managing delivery of the project according to this plan meeting execution timeline for UOP digital products.
Tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget. Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.
Interact closely with customer representatives, UOP Technology Services specialists, Regional Services customer managers, Sales team, and Honeywell support groups to coordinate the execution of Process Monitor and Process Technology Analytics for customer across the globe.
Able to drive DoE, MVO & Demos across globe for digital services.
Drive refinery performance monitoring tool development and its architecture.
Resolve customer queries through digital services. Work closely with the Clients and UOP Technical Service community to understand their needs regarding the uop digital services, capture and transfer best practices and lessons learned.

YOU MUST HAVE
Degree in Chemical Engineering
Minimum 8 years’ experience in plant operations experience of any refinery or petrochemical process unit and UOP technical service or process operation monitoring role within the refining and petrochemical industry.
3+ years’ experience in overseeing remote performance monitoring for refinery or petrochemical industry.
Knowledge of refinery or petrochemical process technologies is must.
Ability to develop flowsheets using UniSim and emulating different plant configurations is essential, and knowledge of UniSim modelling for executing proprietary calculations is preferred.
Leading successful project teams with experience in planning, developing, and executing training sessions is essential, and good understanding of data collection and azure infrastructure is preferred.

Excellent understanding of data analytics platforms.
Experience in Process Simulation, Remote Performance Monitoring tools and software development.
Able to perform project management for multiple customers.
Good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
Solution development mindset. Ability to develop software tools with Honeywell IT team.
Ability to define the problem with limited information.
Be a good team player and an effective leader who is able to motivate their project team.
Excellent communication skills Verbal, written, interpersonal skills, effective presentation skills.
Ability to travel minimum 10% annually to both domestic and international sites (much of this travel can be scheduled and planned).
