We have an opportunity for a Sr Advanced Systems Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Brno. Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex software applications within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be an active and integral member of a small, dedicated team that cooperates on Ovation Select Cabin Management Systems. Honeywell's Ovation Select Cabin Management System (Ovation Select) offers passengers a broad range of cabin entertainment, control and integrated communications to meet the demands of their busy schedules.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Honeywell Aerospace products and services are used on virtually every commercial, defense, and space aircraft. We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. Our hardware and software solutions help create more fuel-efficient aircraft, more direct and on-time flights and safer skies.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis and decomposition
• Systems design and associated documentation development
• Systems integration, validation & verification
• Interaction with both internal and external customers

Key skills and qualifications

• University degree with engineering major
• Experience in Aerospace system design and processes (authoring requirements, design and customer facing documentation)
• Exposure to software and systems certification and testing activities (including root cause analysis)
• Engagement in customer communication (analysis, incorporation and application of new concept and changes)
