The Integration and Testing Manager provides a lead engineer oversight to the BMS, security and/or other assigned systems. The role will ensure that the applications and engineering including all high- and low-level interfaces created or utilised for the project packages are operationally viable and can be clearly demonstrated to the client. The role will develop the testing and commissioning methodology, ITP processes and program, manage the commissioning teams including subcontracted commissioning resources and ensure that all documentation is managed and collated to enable successful project completion and Practical Completion
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure that all applications and systems engineering conform to Honeywell standards
· Ensure that all applications and systems engineering can be tested and demonstrated to the client in the final handover process
· Develop and document the commissioning and testing methodology detailing required precursors to commissioning activity across site, site and facility requirements to enable effective commissioning activity.
· Develop and document the testing methodology for all system interfaces to the various subsystems across site including Honeywell proprietary systems such as EBI and DVM
· Site Management and deployment of Commissioning Teams
· Coordination and liaison with Builder/other trades regarding the commissioning process, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, ICT and others as required
· Supervision/Instruction to Sub contractors,
· Ensuring customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients,
· Work within the current Honeywell Engineering procedures,
· Ensuring delivery of value to Honeywell clients and customers
· Preparation of Operation, Maintenance and Training manuals as required for each project.
· Work within all Environmental, Health & Safety company policy and procedures at all times
Key Experience & Capabilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering Information Technology (Preferred)
· Further education in management or project management would also be advantageous
· Proven experience in management including budget ownership/management, resource allocation, scheduling, forecasting and planning preferably on technology-based projects in excess of
· $10M with multiple system interfaces
· Demonstrated experience in safety and safety management on large commercial and infrastructure projects
· Demonstrated project experience involving the integration of multiple technologies preferably in technology systems for applications such as correctional facilities, building management technology, information technology or network solutions
· Commitment to the development of junior or less experienced staff in the project team
· Proven ability to develop and lead a team
