Driving Seamless Leaves and Accommodations Programs
As a Leaves and Accommodation Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for Home Hardware Team Members seeking to go on leave and will support with the day-to-day administration and analytics of the Leaves & Accommodations programs. Led by the Manager, Leaves and Accommodation this opportunity will suit someone who has excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
Please note: This is a 16-month term position.
Ready to make an impact? Here’s how:
- Respond to inquiries from Team Members and Leaders related to HHSL’s Leaves and Accommodations programs and policies.
- Administer and coordinate Team Member leave requests. Maintain and track all leave records. Monitor progress of leaves and prepare all required documentation and notifications to Team Members, Benefits & Wellness, Payroll, and Human Resources Shared Services.
- Calculate and report on all LTD leave payments and rehabilitation costs.
- Support with the return-to-work follow-up inquiries.
- Ensure adherence to the requirements of the Company’s privacy and confidentiality policies, as well as Provincial and Federal legislative requirements.
- Support management with data analytics and preparation of dashboards and presentations, using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Assist with the development and delivery of standard operating procedures, program development and other projects.
We’re looking for:
- Diploma in Business or Human Resources with 1-2 years of experience.
- Legislative knowledge pertaining to the administration of medical and personal leaves of absence, accommodation, privacy, and record keeping.
- Excellent customer service and time management skills includes the ability to deal with conflict in a calm and customer centric manner.
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to exercise sound judgement in dealing with matters of a confidential nature.
- Experience with analytics and reporting using Excel and creating dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with mathematical aptitude and the ability to act on solutions and consistently apply business rules.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.

- The expected starting salary range for this role is $51,400 - $67,400; the final offer will reflect relevant skills and experience.
