Supporting Dealers with Precision & Purpose
As the Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable Department, ensuring the timely collection of payments and successful resolution of Dealer inquiries, all while upholding a high standard of service. Led by the Manager, Accounts Receivable this opportunity will best suit someone who has a strong accounting background and exceptional attention to detail.
Ready to make an impact? Here’s how:
• Work closely with the Accounts Receivable Manager and Dealer Finance to communicate with the Dealers to arrange repayment formulations, assist with restrictive measures and the overall monitoring of Dealer accounts.
• Daily balancing of the AR subledger, application of payments, preparation of cheques to deposit, journal entry creation and recording.
• Work with other departments to resolve any possible invoicing errors and make necessary adjustments relative to payment dates.
• Reconciling of internal accounts in collaboration with other business areas.
• Maintain direct invoicing tracking spreadsheets and respond to credit reference inquiries.
• Process opening order terms and credit remittance adjustments.
• Preparation and distribution of weekly AR reporting.
• Various other administrative duties as required by the department and Dealers.
We’re looking for:
• Diploma in Business or Accounting with 3-5 years of experience.
• Sound understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with telephone and professional interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, ability to meet daily deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and data entry.
• Strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to work extended hours as required.
• The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
