Location: Memorial Home Hardware Building Centre

Responsibilities

• ​Deliver products and supplies to customers, vendors, and job sites.
• Operate freight handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, lumber carts, etc.
• Perform light vehicle maintenance and maintain vehicle maintenance records.
• Load, unload, and store materials with efficiency and accuracy.
• Greet and serve yard customers, providing assistance with inventory, returns, and exchange policies.
• Maintain the lumber yard, keeping it clean and the inventory neat and orderly.
• Report company vehicle maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Adhere to safety regulations when operating company vehicles and equipment.

Qualifications

• ​Must have a valid, insurable AZ or DZ driver's license, and clean driver’s abstract.
• Previous commercial truck driving experience (Preferred).
• Load securement training - an asset (can be provided).
• Previous forklift training - an asset (can be provided).
• Knowledge or experience in the hardware and building materials industry - an asset.
• Ability to move materials weighing up to 100 pounds (Required).
