Job Summary:
The Quality Control Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards through analytical testing and data analysis. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining product quality and safety. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Status: This posting is for an Existing Opportunity.
Days/Hours : Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST
Salary Range : CAD $50,000 to $60,000 DOE
Day-to-day responsibilities will consist of:
  • Analyze samples of raw materials, in-process, and finished products for conformance to company specifications.
  • Perform testing using analytical equipment and instruments.
  • Document, interpret, and report results, noting any deviations and non-compliances.
  • Maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot equipment when failures and unusual performances occur to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to enhance processes.
  • Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory counts to ensure the laboratory is properly stocked with supplies.
To be successful in this position the following must apply:
  • A Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a scientific discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent grammar and communication skills required.
  • High attention to detail necessary.
  • Ability to work in team and individual environments
