Job Summary
As a Greenhouse Associate, you will play a vital role in the cultivation and care of cannabis plants in a controlled greenhouse environment. Reporting to the Grower or Master Grower, you will be responsible for executing daily horticultural tasks, maintaining plant health, and ensuring compliance with Health Canada regulations and internal SOPs.

Responsibilities
  • Plant Care & Cultivation
    o Water, ventilate, and drain plants according to growth cycles.
    o Prune, defoliate, and clean mother and flowering plants.
    o Assist with cloning and transplanting activities.
    o Monitor plant health and report signs of pests, disease, or nutrient deficiencies.
  • Environmental & Equipment Monitoring
    o Operate and maintain greenhouse systems including irrigation, lighting, and climate
    controls.
    o Conduct daily checks on room sensors, HVAC, dehumidifiers, and fertigation systems.
  • Compliance & Recordkeeping
    o Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Health Canada regulations.
    o Accurately record production data in systems.
    o Participate in cannabis waste destruction and sanitation protocols.
  • Team Collaboration
    o Support the Assistant Grower and Master Grower with operational tasks.
    o Maintain cleanliness of production areas and equipment.
    o Assist with packaging and fulfillment when required.
Qualifications:
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with greenhouse control systems (e.g., Priva).
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, data entry platforms) would be an asset.
  • Ability to work in warm, humid environments and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour
