The Role: As a Health Care Aide (HCA) in Designated Supportive Living, you will assist residents by providing essential personal care, supporting their special needs, and ensuring a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment that promotes independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with personal care needs, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Supporting residents with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs.
• Monitoring and documenting resident health, behavior, and well-being.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure residents receive appropriate care.
• Ensuring a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Encouraging residents’ participation in activities to enhance their independence and quality of life.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Continuing Care experience within the last 3 years required.
• Certified or Substantially Equivalent complete status listed in HCA AB directory is required.
• Experience is supporting patients and clients with activities of daily living (ADL) is required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Rate for AB: $38-$40/hr
Per Diem: $75 for each working day

$500 Referral fee; T&C applies
$250 for 3 months completion bonus
$500 for 6 months completion bonus

Contract Duration: July 11, 2025 - December 31, 2025
Location: Pleasant View Lodge, AB
