We’re hiring a Senior Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our Phoenix, Arizona distribution team. Experience what it’s like to work for a mission-driven company committed to helping people get better.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Director of Site Operations, the Sr Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management and effectiveness of distribution operations in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you’ll provide world-class operational support to ensure customer and internal business needs are met or exceeded consistently. You’ll use your exceptional leadership skills to motivate the team to deliver their best work through teamwork and cooperation while developing staff and operational effectiveness.

What you'll do:

  • Support and promote the Company’s Core Values and Operating Principles.
  • Oversee all daily warehouse operations, including inbound freight, receiving purchase orders, stocking storage locations, vendor interaction, quality control, troubleshooting inventory issues, and picking/packing/shipping of customer orders.
  • Ensure work areas are safe and teammates are following proper work procedures and protocols.
  • Administering corrective action when guidelines are not followed.
  • Driving company and department initiatives and ensuring all key performance indicators are met or exceeded.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining daily work schedules (scheduling overtime, ending work shifts early if work volume dictates, etc) to ensure business needs are met.
  • Maintain time and attendance data within the company timekeeping system. This includes editing employee punches when necessary and tracking attendance occurrences (late arrivals, unexcused absences, etc).
  • Collaborate with Talent teams to develop and roll out new hire onboarding and ongoing employee training programs.
  • Manage all facets of the Warehouse Management System to ensure data integrity and smooth, consistent operational processes.
  • Constantly look for new and innovative ways to increase the effectiveness of labor and system resources.
  • Ability to design and implement lasting positive change.
  • Act as a Leader within the department and organization.
  • Motivate staff and encourage the growth of our team members.
  • Conduct employee reviews regularly.
  • Responsible for developing and growing the department and the leadership team, positioning the operation for high growth potential.
  • Work cohesively with organizational Leadership members to ensure all business objectives are met.
  • Ensure the facility is safe, clean, and secure at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you bring to the table:

  • Proven Leader with at least 5 years of experience effectively leading teams of 50 or more, including hiring, documentation, termination, training, and acting as an effective change agent.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Google Workspaces.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse and distribution center procedures and concepts.
  • Ability to make difficult decisions, solve problems, prioritize assignments, generate and utilize reports, and manage projects.
  • Advanced experience with ERP & WMS systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in business, engineering, logistics, supply chain management, or an associated field is required.
  • This is a HANDS-ON position. It requires the ability to work until the job is completed daily. Physical requirements include walking, stooping, lifting to 50 lbs, and standing for extended periods of time.
