As a Product Analytics intern, you will work closely with our product team to analyze user behavior, product performance and our competitive landscape. You will assist in conducting competitive research, tracking industry trends, and analyzing market data to inform product strategy and decision making. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both product analytics and competitive research, while helping the company stay ahead of the curve in a fast-moving market.
This is a 10-week paid summer internship (June 9-August 8).
Key Responsibilities:
- Competitive Research & Analysis: Conduct competitive research to identify industry trends and competitor strategies. Analyze competitor products, features, pricing and positioning to support Field enablement and product development decisions.
- Data Analysis: Analyze user behavior, product performance, and engagement data to uncover insights and trends. Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of product features and identify areas for improvement.
- Building Dashboards & Reporting: Assist in building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product performance and competitive insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Product Marketing and the Field to interpret data and competitive research findings.
- Present Findings: Contribute to the preparation of competitive research reports and presentations, communications key insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Analytics, Market Research, Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with competitive research methodologies, including SWOT analysis.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to conduct in-depth competitive analysis and synthesize findings.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
