Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Manager for one of Flexera's products. You are required to lead the development efforts of the product and ensure that the "voice of business" is fully represented in the Agile process. You will work with product managers, development teams, and other product stakeholders to ensure that business, quality, and functional goals are met with each product release. You will be responsible for the design, usability, quality, and delivery of the product and features. You will be a key decision-maker in priorities and design decisions and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned at each stage. This position is a mix of development, test, and project management. Day-to-day tasks will include development, leadership, reporting, project management, and interactions with the other stakeholders.

Candidates Profile:
- B.E/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of prior management and/or team leadership experience.
- Practical experience and expertise in Agile methodologies.
- Good knowledge and proven experience with Data Structures, Object Oriented design, and development.
- Required Skills- C#.NET, ASP.NET, REST, Any RDBMS Databases
- This is a customer-facing position, and the candidate should have excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to convey ideas and concepts to another team environment effectively.
- Produce excellent results with minimal supervision. Strong analytic skills.
- Strong quality orientation and customer focus.
- Should be adept at tackling and negotiating with tough customers.
- Should be able to shield his/her team from the customer/project pressure and give them a good atmosphere to perform.
- If there is a need, should be ready to contribute to coding.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Manage business goals by ensuring that key features and enhancements are delivered while managing risks. Manage a team of developers. Review their performance, provide feedback, and support them in their career growth.
- Work with Product Management and engineers. Review requirements, technical artifacts, and design to ensure feasibility and that the right solution is built.
- Communicate and collaborate with other managers, internal and external stakeholders as needed.
- Design, implement, review and test software applications.
- Perform the role of a scrum master and help the team get access to resources to meet business objectives.
- Conduct and participate in peer reviews to ensure product quality.
- Provide regular updates on progress and delays encountered during development.
- Improve team's technical capabilities and establish best practices for software development or test with the respective domain.
- Talk to / negotiate with customers regularly for requirements elicitation and for getting feedback on solutions.
- Drive hiring exercise when engineering positions need to be filled.
