The Desktop Support Technician provides technical support for all levels of business users across all end user devices including laptops, desktops, smart phones, tablets, printers and all related peripherals. In addition, support of end user software including Microsoft Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Adobe applications, and other business software is required.

  • Must be a good communicator and be able to work in a high paced team environment
  • Responsible for day to day deskside and remote support
  • Perform inventory management tasks and end user computer setups
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software applications in a mixed Operating System environment

Responsibilities:

  • Installation maintenance and management of Laptops and Desktops, using automated provisioning tools such as Intune, Jamf, SCCM
  • Active Directory user and group management;
  • Support productivity software such as Microsoft 365;
  • Support hardware systems, peripherals and printers;
  • Support of video conferencing systems and video event setup;
  • Ensure software compliance.
  • Maintain Asset Inventory and allocation details;
  • Ensures support SLA’s are achieved;
  • White Glove support for local executives;

Required Experience & Skills:

  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field with 3+ years related experience;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and with strong time management skills;
  • Must be customer-service oriented;
  • Maintain consistent work hours;
  • Experience with support of a global environment preferred;
  • Solid problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Self-starter who continually develops and broadens their skill set;
  • Demonstrates technical proficiency through the pursuit and achievement of industry certifications;
  • Flexibility and willingness to be on-call and available, including weekends, and participate in a team on-call rotation;
  • Organization and documentation skills;
  • Good understanding of networking concepts, how LANs, WANs, Wi-Fi, VPNs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wifi, functions
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender or other endpoint protection and MDM
  • Certifications such as A+,MCSA Desktop, MCSE Desktop, Microsoft Specialist, are a plus;
