How you’ll make an impact
Leverage your expertise in loan recovery, legal and loan administration to support intensive management, loan recovery and arrears management processes across agricultural portfolios.
As an Account Management Associate, Special Credit, you’ll partner with Account Managers and Senior Account Managers to maintain strong customer relationships while supporting recovery activities across alliances, agribusiness and agri-food, and ag production accounts. Your strong attention to detail and understanding of legal and loan administration will enable you to manage documentation, monitor settlements and support recovery processes guided by policy and legislation.

What you’ll do
Partner with Account Managers and Senior Account Managers to support intensive management, loan recovery and arrears management processes
Build and maintain relationships with customers and influencers, including solicitors, accountants, and internal FCC partners
Execute recovery processes under direction, including initiating legal processes and verifying loan security and documentation
Independently complete legal and loan administration documentation such as notices, foreclosure, bankruptcy, seizures, affidavits and discharges
Monitor and follow up on account settlements, property sales, and FCC property management activities
Prepare correspondence, registered mail, and respond to internal and external customer inquiries
What you’ll bring to the team
Required qualifications:
A diploma or certificate in business or administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Two years of related experience in loan administration or a similar field
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Demonstrated multitasking and prioritization abilities
Working knowledge of software applications and information systems
Strong bilingual (English and French) communication skills, both written and verbal, to present information
Preferred qualifications:
Specialized knowledge of recovery processes, legal and loan administration documentation
Knowledge of the agriculture industry
A legal certificate or experience as a paralegal is an asset
