How you’ll make an impact

As a Senior Special Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping and improving the end-to-end lending experience for customers and employees. Drawing on your experience in commercial lending, credit operations and large-scale projects, you’ll lead complex multi-stakeholder initiatives that simplify lending solution design and delivery across the organization.

You’ll dig into root causes and clearly outline current and future states, as opportunities to innovate across the lending journey emerge. You’ll be comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking the right questions, and turning insights into practical, actionable solutions. You’ll collaborate with partners across the organization, confidently presenting ideas and recommendations to senior leaders and tailoring complex information for a variety of audiences.

You’ll also be a trusted team player — ready to jump in where needed to help move projects forward, support colleagues, and ensure shared success. With a strong background in lending in the agriculture and agrifood sector, particularly in commercial lending or credit, you’ll bring valuable industry insights that help drive meaningful, lasting improvements for both customers and the business.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with key stakeholders to execute the vision of a simplified lending experience

  • Identify opportunities to simplify lending processes, improve customer and employee experience and reduce operational friction

  • Provide strategic and tactical recommendations to all levels of the organization to enhance and develop our commercial lending experience

  • Support the development of future state lending operation models and capabilities

  • Facilitate collaboration through workshops or decision documents to further our simplified lending strategy

  • Apply an understanding of credit models, policy, and procedures to improve customer and employee experience

What you’ll bring to the team

Required qualifications:

  • A degree in business administration, commerce, or related field

  • Minimum six years of experience in commercial lending, credit operations or lending transformation

  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and understand customer and employee experience design thinking

  • Experience in communicating at all levels of the organization

Preferred qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma, project management, process mapping or customer service blueprinting

  • Strong communication skills, including presentations, decision documents and planning
