As a Customer Diligence Centre Analyst, you’ll complete customer due diligence checks, review name‑screening alerts, and investigate suspicious transactions and activities for our current and potential customers. You'll also help to identify and assess potential risks to our Financial Crime Compliance program.
This position is key in collaborating and communicating with other business units, such as Operations, the Customer Service Centre, Credit Risk and Special Credit, to protect FCC from potential regulatory and reputational risk. It also requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail to evaluate complex transactions and financial statements.

What you’ll do
Complete and support customer due diligence activities during onboarding, administrative activities and as part of periodic screening
Conduct open‑source searches via CanLII, media, corporate registries, court databases and internal systems and document and report findings
Prepare risk-related recommendations to management
Support transaction-monitoring activities, including investigating suspicious transactions and analyzing unusual behaviour for potential money laundering, terrorist financing or fraud
Contribute to Customer Diligence Centre productivity and service
Support Specialists and Senior Specialists in enhanced due diligence (EDD) activities using advanced analytics
What you’ll bring to the team
Required qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, administration or related fields
Minimum three years of experience in lending or financial crime investigations (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
Proficiency in both official languages (English and French)
Preferred qualifications:
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and/or Certified Fraud Examiner designations
