Lead a team of Loan Administration Technicians and support the functioning and mission of FCC’s Loan Administration Centre (LAC).

You’ll use your coaching skills to support the team’s learning and development, while also managing onboarding, succession planning, and staffing.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead a loan administration team, including championing change management and promoting a positive culture.
  • Identify and implement process and policy improvements and recommend solutions to deal with issues.
  • Coordinate workload and guide team through deadlines, problem resolution or exceptions.
  • Partner with LAC leadership team to deliver strategic direction and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Recruit team members and manage staff performance, including providing coaching and ensuring members are cross-trained and engaged in continuous learning.

  • Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) and proven ability in oral and written communication.

What you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in administration or commerce and at least three years of relevant experience, or a two-year diploma or certificate in a related field and at least five years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Knowledge of lending practices, including a solid understanding of mortgages, contract law, security and differing provincial laws on security registrations
  • Advanced working knowledge of loan and security registration systems
