Join the team responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of code, and the interpretation of business requirements.
You’ll also provide informal leadership while developing solutions to complex issues.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze and develop new code, including automation, integration and unit tests
  • Implement code fixes and support user testing
  • Participate in and/or lead design sessions
  • Actively contribute to code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members
  • Ensure technical solutions and system integrations are developed and maintained in the most efficient and effective manner

What we’re looking for:

  • Advocate of smart, clean and maintainable code
  • Passion for technology, and software and data development

What you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering and at least six years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Ability to design and implement functional, easy-to-understand code
  • Proficiency with Spark
  • AWS experience (RedShift, Glue, Step functions, QuickSight)
  • SAS experience (SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Data Integration, SAS MIP) would be beneficial
  • A background in financial data/reporting and allowance for credit loss experience would be considered an asset
