Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position) :
$119,935 - $162,265Corporate and commercial lending expertise requiredIn this role, you’ll support the Strategic Finance team by applying outside-the-box thinking to analyze and adjudicate commercial loans across our wide spectrum of capital solutions. Working with Ag Production and Corporate and Commercial, you’ll make recommendations based on credit risk management best practices and FCC policies.
What you’ll do:
Adjudicate, authorize, or recommend commercial loans across capital solutions (including FCC Capital’s Strategic Finance capital solutions)
Review and analyze source documents and proposals for authorization
Assess and consistently apply corporate and credit risk policy
Analyze administration requests such as loan amendments, security amendments and policy exceptions
Coach and mentor lending staff on the credit culture at FCC

What you’ll need:
A degree in business, economics or agriculture economics, supplemented by at least eight years of experience in commercial or corporate lending (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
An understanding of complex corporate lending and advanced credit analysis
Knowledge of the agriculture, agribusiness and the food and beverage industries
Expertise in corporate lending practices, theories and trends
Knowledge of specialized industries (i.e., Sustainable finance (ESG), controlled environment agriculture (CEA), biodigesters, RAS aquaculture systems, etc) is an asset
Prior experience with on-reserve Indigenous lending is an asset
Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
