$134,505 - $181,979Proven leader with extensive audit experience neededReporting directly to the Vice President, Internal Audit, you’ll assist in the development and execution of FCC’s Internal Audit strategy. This includes the responsibility to oversee:
- the identification and completion of priority audit projects selected using a risk-based approach
- processes that ensure compliance to the requirements of the International Internal Auditing standards
- reporting to Board- and Executive-level committees
- learning priorities to ensure internal audit practices and skills of the team keep pace with or exceed industry standards
- maintenance of the internal and external relationship management strategy
- capacity planning, performance objectives, recruiting and budgeting
What you’ll do:
- Create and monitor work plans
- Identify and assess risk related to each audit entity
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop scope and objectives for engagements
- Help develop complex findings, conclusions and recommendations
- Maintain key strategic relationships including Audit Committee, Executive and Senior Leaders, Enterprise Risk and Office of the Auditor General
- Assist with strategic planning for the division
- Coach and mentor the team on setting performance objectives and development planning
- Research and recommend process improvements
- Perform budget, training, communication and recruitment duties
