As an Accessibility and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant, you’ll plan corporate accessibility initiatives, identify accessibility challenges and provide solutions that help FCC create a barrier-free workplace and customer experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Plan and implement FCC’s diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance ideas and opportunities
  • Evaluate programs, activities and initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Use data and employee feedback to provide insights that enhance FCC’s ability to monitor progress against goals
  • Develop and execute evidence-based project plans on time and on budget

What we’re looking for:

  • Organized multi-tasker with strong project planning/management skills
  • Analytical thinker able to make sense of data and find solutions
  • Effective communicator who can build partnerships at FCC and with outside organizations

What you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public administration, or human resources and at least three years of related accessibility, DEI, or employment equity experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • A solid understanding of accessibility and DEI principles and best practices
  • In-depth knowledge of the Accessible Canada Act, Employment Equity Act and other related regulations
