Reporting directly to the Vice-President and Treasurer, you’ll be responsible for the development and execution of corporate strategies.

Oversee category management and strategic sourcing, operational procurement, contract management, monitoring, and compliance to support enterprise-wide risk management and procurement sustainability programs. Plus, you’ll ensure systems and processes evolve to meet changing business needs.

What you’ll do:

• Develop plans, strategies, goals, measures and approaches to deliver procurement services for the organization

• Optimize team structure, people management and skill development to enhance Procurement’s ability to advise and deliver value to the business

• Provide category management and strategic sourcing oversight and direction to support business objectives, optimize costs and minimize risks

• Provide oversight and direction in vendor management to reduce costs, improve quality and service, increase agility, and drive collaboration and innovation

• Ensure strong supplier performance against operational metrics

• Manage programs to ensure suppliers operate in a socially and environmentally friendly way

• Expand the use of diverse suppliers across the organization

What you’ll need:

• A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance or supply chain management and at least 10 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
