Establish the loan syndications team with a strategic goal of expanding market presence and expertise while driving business growth and executing on FCC’s mandate.

This position is designated bilingual (English and French), and the successful candidate must be able to communicate in both of Canada’s official languages. In the event that a qualified bilingual candidate is not found, a qualified unilingual candidate will be considered and supported in their second official language training. Both bilingual and unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and advance FCC’s syndicate strategy and process, ensuring strong collaboration with internal partners
  • Grow FCC’s reputation in the syndicate financing space with other financial institutions
  • Develop the long-term operational structure for syndicated lending administration
  • Closely monitor syndicated loan portfolio and complete periodic loan reviews, internal credit reviews and/or identify early warning indicators for any stress in loan portfolio

What you’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of loan syndication experience, particularly the administrative side (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Capital markets and investment experience is an asset
