Our BonLook - Toronto Eaton Centre is looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as an Assistant Store Manager, to fill an existing vacancy!
This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week. Our store is open Monday to Sunday, evening and weekend availability is required.
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting operational excellence and fostering a customer-focused environment. You’ll coach and mentor staff, optimize store performance, and enhance the lives of customers in a dynamic, rewarding, and collaborative environment! What You’ll Do
- Support the Store Manager in executing overall store strategies and operations
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance, while driving results through leadership aligned with organizational goals
- Motivate and influence team members by empowering them, creating enthusiasm, and gaining support to achieve store objectives
- Plan, delegate, and manage team responsibilities across all areas of the business
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment by providing clear direction and cultivating a shared vision
- Foster open communication through active listening and promoting a transparent, trust-based culture
- Champion company initiatives, evaluate their effectiveness, and implement best practices to strengthen and enhance the brand
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive customer experience and creating value for every customer
- Support store operations by performing additional duties as required
What You Bring
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- College degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years of management or supervisory experience
- Previous experience in customer service and retail preferred
- Understanding of operations, processes, and business performance
- Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
- Proven ability to inspire, coach, and mentor a team while driving organizational goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
- Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of optical theory and eyewear merchandise is considered an asset
