Job Summary

The Senior Automation Advisor acts as a strategic enabler for business transformation, leveraging architect design, data, automation, and continuous improvement to drive smarter decision-making. This role combines technical knowledge with business insight to deliver robust solutions architect design, scalable modern tools, advance analytics solutions, optimize reporting processes, and enable stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines, end user apps, dashboards, and analytical tools.
• Design scalable IT solutions aligned with business strategy and architecture mandates.
• Apply architecture frameworks and tools to create logical and physical designs, considering platform dependencies and non-functional requirements such as performance, security, and resilience.
• Contribute solution evaluation, documentation, and prototyping, while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure architectural integrity.
• Develop and manage ETL workflows and Dashboards models using SQL, Power BI, Tableau and other relevant platforms.
• Automate reporting processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Optimize data queries for performance and scalability across analytics platforms.
• Manage remediation activities and transition of dashboards and reports to support, ensuring alignment with new data sources and system changes introduced by Polaris.

• Continuously enhance existing end user tools, dashboards and develop new ones based on evolving business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Reporting and visualization dashboard-related issues to ensure data accuracy and usability.

• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather KPIs and reporting needs, and translate them into actionable reporting and visualizations
• Provide guidance and support to teams on analytics tools and best practices.

• Develop comprehensive training materials for systems or solutions architect design solutions, dashboards and reporting tools.
• Conduct training sessions and communicate updates to ensure effective adoption across business units.

Preferred Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• Strong Proficiency in SQL, Python, Snowflake, VB script, HTML and ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx).
• Hands-on experience with BI platforms like Power BI.
• Optional : Microsoft Power Platform
• Systems and solution architecture & design Skills
• Understanding of database/application design and structural principles

Business & Process Acumen

• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Skilled in managing stakeholder expectations and controlling scope for reporting services.
• Facilitate training/demos with users & power users in collaboration with Product Owner and delivery members
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Provide consultation and share best practices to support business enhancement opportunities
