The Supply Chain department is seeking new candidates to its growing dynamic team. Office based - BA, Torre Boston.
What role will you play in our team
Coordinate short term Supply/Demand Balances for B&W and identify/initiate tactical actions required for inventory management while meeting customer demands and providing value through efficient and cost effective tactical supply chain decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze demand, capacity, and supply to meet customer demands.
- Chair regular Regional Supply Meeting.
- Provide Schedulers weekly inventory update and product specific loading tolerances.
- Manage circuit inventory.
- Function as liaison between Sales, Product Optimizers, Refinery / Supplier, Schedulers and Technical to resolve unplanned issues impacting the supply to customers.
- Support Supply Demand discussion directly with Midstream.
- Own and maintain tools and programs (outside of o9) for executing of the shipments to customers and maintaining inventory levels.
- Provide LIFO projections at the end of the year.
- Tactical Interactions with third-party Base Oil suppliers.
- Identify and bring to management’s attention any short/long-term opportunities to enhance productivity and work practices.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Relevant experience in Supply/Marine Transportation and Lubes Refining.
- Fluent Verbal and Written Communication skills.
- Leadership, Influencing and Coordination skills.
- Decisive, ability to make business decisions promptly.
- Analytical Skills/Refining & Logistics Economics Knowledge.
