About this opportunity:

Ericsson is looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. In this dynamic role, candidates will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our Legal Counsels and Compliance Officers as well as independently prepare critical legal documentation. The job entails a myriad of administrative and legal responsibilities including interacting with authorities, preparing case files, conducting legal research, and maintaining meticulous records.

What you will do:

  • Conduct, handle and maintain filings/registrations of all legal entity related information and documents, both internally using various company tools/platforms and externally with the government agencies
  • Conduct basic legal research on company law related legislations; consult, liaison and communicate with government agencies to understand their interpretations and requirements when needed
  • Prepare appointment documents of various positions (such as board directors, presidents/general managers, supervisors and legal representatives)
    With the guidance of a legal counsel, draft and/or review relevant legal related documents, such as signing authorizations, articles of association, company stamp/seal management policies etc.
  • Provide assurance review on those documents and simple agreements to Local Admin Services team before the same can be stamped with a company/contract stamp/seal
  • Assist legal counsels and Head of China Legal Affairs with other administrative work and formalities, such as meeting arrangement, signature arrangement (via e-sign or physical signature collection), external lawyer’s bill handling etc.
  • Coordinate and work closely with legal colleagues from headquarter and other countries and market areas as well as and other departments such as Finance Control and Local Admin
  • Service units, serving as a team assistant and/or coordinator
  • Other work as assigned by Head of China Legal Affairs

The skills you bring:

  • Excellent mandarin Chinese and English language skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized and prioritized manner
  • Proactive working attitude ready to support the team and help others
  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience as a team assistant or paralegal
  • Foreign education and/or MNC work experience preferred
  • Law degree or legal related background preferred
