About this Opportunity:
At Ericsson Tlaxcala, we invite passionate and innovative students to join our team as a Production & AI Intern. In this role, you will collaborate with experienced professionals in logistics and production planning to design, develop, and implement technological solutions that enhance our supply chain operations. You will directly support the final assembly line, using automation, artificial intelligence, and digital tools to improve production planning efficiency. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply your academic skills to real-world challenges in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment, while contributing to Ericsson’s vision for a smarter, more sustainable future.
What You Will Do:
• Participate in the development of a digital platform or repository to support and optimize production planning.
• Work alongside the Production Planner and Logistics team to understand operational needs and build tailored tech solutions.
• Research, design, and propose automation methods for KPIs and planning processes using programming and AI tools.
• Analyze Ericsson’s existing AI platform and recommend new applications for production planning optimization.
The Skills You Bring:
• Engineering students planning to graduate by 2025-2026 (Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields).
• Advanced English skills.
• Strong interest in AI and automation within manufacturing environments.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python programming and data analytics.
• Problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced industry.
• Ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
Curiosity, creativity, and initiative to explore and propose innovative improvements.
