About this opportunity:

We are now looking for a Domain Support Specialist – Data Centre to be based in Subang Jaya (Central). This job role will be responsible for governance, monitoring, coordinating, and supporting various operational and project activities within the TOC (Technical Operations Center) to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. The professional will work alongside a highly skilled, diverse team, making sure that the information assets, that we are responsible to protect, are secured.

What you will do:

  • Ensures effective incident management, documentation review, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and follow up TOC alarms & Incidents at respective TOC. Escalation to Team Leader, respective stake holders and Management for incident.
  • Follow-up & Review (Issue Register, RI report, MOP, proposal, Incident report, Block diagram, SLD, SOW) and submit proposal & finding report.
  • Support TOC Infra Projects and continues TOC enhancement.
  • Liaise with Regional Field team on M&E support.
  • Service/Platform Owner coordination during on-site support for incidents, planned and unplanned activity.
  • Support energy saving initiative by power down, decommissioned identified Servers/Services by the platform owner.
  • Review of M&E asset inventory.
  • Support to Internal & External body audit (ISMS/ISO/E&Y/MARSH).
  • 1st level troubleshoot support for hardware / remote software.
  • Hardware and Element/E1/link/Interface/Port physical inspection.
  • Core Hardware fault replacement.
  • Cable works for minor integration and local patching.
  • Preventive Maintenance and Health Check Audit.
  • Software Local CDR Backup for Core equipment.

The skills you bring:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in technical operations or infrastructure support.
  • Strong understanding of TOC operations, incident management, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and preventive maintenance practices.
  • A0/ A4 Chargeman Certification is highly preferred.
