About this opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced BSS Solution Architect to play a key role in leading system integration (SI) activities in collaboration with multiple partners, while continuing to advance technical expertise within the solution architecture domain. The role will focus on Ericsson Charging, Mediation, Ericsson Dynamic Activation (Provisioning), Catalog Management, and Order Management within the BSS landscape. Billing system expertise will be highly valued, and additional experience with CRM, Middleware, and ODA (Open Digital Architecture) will be considered a strong advantage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 5–7+ years in telecom integration and solution design to take ownership of complex BSS solutions and grow further as a solution architect.
What you will do:
- Lead and coordinate technical design and solution integration activities, ensuring effective collaboration with other SIs.
- Analyze customer business and technical requirements, translating them into robust and commercially viable solution architectures.
- Define integrated BSS solution designs covering Ericsson Charging, Mediation, Provisioning, Catalog Management, Order Management, and billing systems.
- Work on integration strategies with CRM, Middleware, OSS, and third-party platforms, applying APIs (SOAP, REST) and relevant telecom protocols.
- Contribute to architectural modernization using microservices, containerization (Kubernetes), and cloud-native principles.
- Prepare and present design documents, architectural specifications, and participate in customer workshops.
- Support deployment, testing, and migration from legacy to modern platforms, including risk and impact assessments.
- Participate in estimation activities for solution design and delivery, ensuring detail and accuracy.
- Stay updated on industry standards and trends, particularly across 5G and BSS transformation.
- Mentor junior team members and share domain knowledge to strengthen team capability.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related IT field.
- 5–7+ years of experience in telecom integration, solution architecture, or related roles.
- Strong domain experience in Ericsson Charging, Mediation, Provisioning, Catalog Management, Order Management, with billing systems expertise being a significant plus.
- Familiarity with CRM, Middleware, and ODA-based architectures.
- Experience with telecom protocols (Diameter, SS7, SIP) and API integration (SOAP, REST).
- Good understanding of microservices, cloud-native environments, and Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of security, compliance, and data governance for telco solutions.
- Solid communication, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Preferred Certifications: TOGAF, ITIL, TM Forum, or relevant BSS platform-specific certifications.
