Within BCSS, we are now hiring a Security Lead for the Solution Area - Business Operations & Strategy (SA BOS). In SA BOS we develop and deliver competitive global BSS & OSS IT Near solutions, both products and services. SA BOS’s portfolio includes BSS offerings such as Online Charging Systems, Billing, Catalog and Order Management as well as OSS solutions like Adaptive Inventory, Expert Analytics, and Service & Network Slicing Orchestration.

As the Security Lead you will lead and enhance our organization’s security posture while identifying and driving opportunities to monetize security capabilities. This role will serve as a bridge between technical security teams, business units, and executive leadership—ensuring that security is embedded in governance, risk management, and strategic decision-making.

Crucially, this role will also explore and drive opportunities to leverage our security capabilities as a competitive differentiator and a source of new revenue generation. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the telecom industry, business operations, Sales and a strong background in security leadership.

What you will do:

The Security Lead has the following primary responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the security governance, providing regular reports to senior management
• Collaborate with security community to ensure cohesive security practices across the organization.
• Oversee risk management, compliance tracking, and audit readiness for BOS
• Leads awareness programs and training initiatives to foster a culture of security across the organization
• Act as a key advisor to business unit heads on security
• Support RFI / RFP during sales
• Support improvements of Enterprise Security to better meet customers’ security demands, and ensure alignment with the long-term ambitions and regulatory requirements
• Support business continuity planning and resilience strategies
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for operational security effectiveness
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities where our robust security posture can be a key competitive differentiator, leading to increased market share or premium service offerings

The skills you bring:

• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to drive security improvements
• Proven track record of having significant experience in Product Security, Information Security and Commercial
• Knowledge of Security Laws, Regulations, Risk Management, and Information Security Management Systems
• ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor
• Security certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CRISC or CISM)
• Knowledge of Standards such as NIST, ISO, 3GPP or SOC
• Strong understanding of relevant security domains and business impact
• Experience or Knowledge of BOS domain is a plus
• Familiarity with enterprise security, audits, governance, and compliance
• Challenger mentality, innovative attitude with the ability to drive the change
• Ability to work collaboratively across many teams within Ericsson
