Senior Group Legal Counsel
Ericsson
Join our Team
About this opportunity
We are now expanding our leading Strategic Sourcing and Projects team, a new team within Ericsson’s Group Function Legal Affairs (GFLA) which is focused on contracting with our most critical suppliers across the globe – from semiconductor supply for our leading networks business; to inbound licensing of software for our telecom’s software business; to critical internal IT and outsourced services. Many of these agreements are used to transact very high spend and to source critical supplies which must arrive on-time to enable us to remain competitive. Our work here is therefore critical in growing the Ericsson Group’s profitability and competitiveness.
Whilst the main focus of this role will be in supplier contract reviews and negotiation, the team comprises lawyers with broad commercial and technology law backgrounds and advise on a wide range of issues – from AI implementation, to pre-emptively managing supplier disputes, and advising on enforcement – all with other experts across GFLA globally.
You can also expect to have opportunities to participate in other strategic contracting initiatives across the Ericsson Group and work closely with members of the GFLA Leadership Team. Over the long term, we actively encourage our lawyers to grow, develop new skills, and pursue their interests by exploring other opportunities within GFLA – whether in Sweden or internationally.

- Actively and extensively collaborate with other lawyers across the Ericsson legal community.
- Show curiosity, ask questions and get to know the technology involved in what we sell and buy.
- Be involved in wider contracting improvement initiatives and projects across the Ericsson Group.
You will bring
- Law degree or law qualification of equivalent standing.
- Prior experience as a commercial, technology and/or corporate lawyer, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience.
- Ideally, experience of similarly complex multinational groups and advising on cross-border matters.
- Pragmatic approach to risk.

- Good commercial and technology awareness and understanding.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
