About this opportunity:

The Solution Architect is expected to participate in Charging & Policy projects and pre-sales. Person needs to analyse, prepare, implement, and verify the integration and configuration of Ericsson Policy and Charging Control system projects.
Responsible for analysing, designing, developing and implementing end-to-end technical solutions for the customers. Responsible for profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, & technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions & proposals.

Personal Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• More than 8 years of experience in Packet Core, Policy or Cloud Domain.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Good attitude & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform in a multi-tasking and team-oriented environment
• Ability to show active participation within a team – be engaged
• Ability to manage customer and lead technical discussions
• General "open source" knowledge, "hands on" approach and a "can do" attitude
Technical skills:
• Excellent knowledge of 4G and 5G call flow in packet core.
• Excellent Knowledge on Gx, Rx, N7, N28 and ESy interfaces.
• Good understanding of Policy and charging control.
• Experience on deployment, integration and testing of PCRF & PCF in 4G & 5G network respectively.
• Good Experience in Handling Changes in the Live Network. Technical awareness on impact.
• Good Experience on Ericsson’s Policy Control products SAPC and CCPC.
• Excellent knowledge on VOLTE, VOWIFI and VONR call flows, with good knowledge of PACO and IMS network.
• Good knowledge on Operating System (Linux and Solaris). VM knowledge (VMWare, RHoSP etc.) would be a plus
• Stronge knowledge on NFVI, Kubernetes and RHOCP
• Understanding of Shell scripting (Perl, python and Java will be an added advantage)
• Experience with technical trouble shooting in PACO network and PCRF/PCF
• Knowledge on basic networking concepts.
• Exposure to open-source technologies.
