About the Opportunity:
Are you passionate about shaping the future of AI-driven systems in cutting-edge silicon technologies? Do you thrive on designing scalable AI architectures that translate complex requirements into production-ready solutions? Join Ericsson’s PEU Silicon as a Senior AI Architect and drive the design, prototyping, and delivery of AI-powered solutions that will redefine silicon innovation.
As a Senior AI Architect within Ericsson’s PEU Silicon Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in architecting advanced analytics, Generative AI, and agentic AI solutions. You will ensure that AI initiatives are not only innovative but also scalable, secure, and aligned with Ericsson’s silicon strategy.
You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, silicon experts, and product leaders to bring AI concepts from ideation to production, directly impacting product quality, innovation velocity, and operational efficiency.
What you’ll do:
• Architect and design end-to-end AI and data solutions for silicon workflows.
• Translate business and engineering requirements into scalable AI architectures and actionable solution roadmaps.
• Lead the prototyping and evaluation of AI/ML models, including Generative AI and agent-based approaches.
• Define technical standards, frameworks, and reference architectures for predictive analytics, LLMs, and agentic systems.
• Collaborate with silicon engineers and domain experts to ensure AI solutions are fit-for-purpose and production-grade.
• Provide technical leadership to data scientists and ML engineers, mentoring them on solution design, optimization, and deployment best practices.
• Oversee integration with data engineering pipelines and MLOps practices, ensuring quality, governance, and operational readiness.
• Stay current with emerging AI research and introduce innovative methods—particularly in Generative AI and agentic AI—where they bring tangible value.
• Champion responsible AI adoption by embedding transparency, ethics, and trust into all solutions.
Skills you bring:
• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Ph.D. in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML solution design and deployment, with a track record of delivering large-scale systems into production.
• Strong expertise in solution architecture for AI/ML, from requirement analysis to production rollout.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, including Large Language Models (GPT, LLaMA, Claude, etc.), embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Familiarity with agentic AI approaches, including orchestration frameworks and autonomous workflows.
• Proficiency in Python (preferred) and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, LangChain).
• Experience designing and integrating with data platforms: ETL pipelines, data lakes, warehouses, and feature stores.
• Solid knowledge of predictive modeling, machine learning techniques, and statistics.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to align technical designs with business strategy.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in semiconductors, silicon development, or telecommunications industries.
• Familiarity with EDA workflows (ASIC, FPGA, RFIC) and their data challenges.
• Practical knowledge of cloud-native AI/ML platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and specialized services.
• Exposure to MLOps & LLMOps practices and AI governance frameworks.
