Position Summary


We are seeking a strategic, high-impact leader to join our global AI program as AI Strategy & Portfolio Lead. This role is ideal for individuals with a consulting or transformation background who are looking to apply their expertise in AI, business value creation, and cross-functional execution.


As a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, you will shape the AI agenda across multiple domains—Support (HR, Finance, Sourcing, Customer Support), Marketing, Product Development, and IT (Dev/DevOps/Ops). You will define and own the strategic portfolio, identify high-value initiatives, and drive tangible impact by leading engagements from opportunity framing to solution delivery.


This is a client-partner style role inside the enterprise—with the ability to influence strategy, technology decisions, and operating models.

Key Responsibilities


Business Engagement & Strategy


• Act as the go-to strategic partner for business unit leaders, understanding their priorities, challenges, and transformation goals.
• Leverage external perspective and AI industry trends to shape innovative, high-impact solutions.
• Translate needs into targeted AI use cases, transformation roadmaps, and investment strategies aligned with business goals.


Portfolio Leadership & Value Delivery


• Own and prioritize the portfolio of AI initiatives within your domains—from ideation to impact realization.
• Lead business case development, ROI modelling, and quantification of AI-driven outcomes.
• Ensure delivery success by aligning stakeholders, removing roadblocks, and guiding solution teams with business context.


AI & Solution Advisory


• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, AI platforms, and delivery models; connect innovation to practical execution.
• Advise on architecture, scalability, and solution design choices with an eye on value and feasibility.
• Champion alignment between business needs and technical roadmaps across teams.


Change, Governance & Budgeting


• Support investment planning, change management, and capability enablement in your business domains.
• Influence leadership forums and decision-making with clear communication and outcome-driven insights.
• Track portfolio progress and proactively manage risks and dependencies.

Required Skills & Experience


Business & Domain Expertise


• Deep understanding of core enterprise domains (HR, Finance, Sourcing, Marketing, Product, or IT).
• Experience in AI/automation transformation programs, ideally at scale or across multiple functions.
• Ability to connect technology with commercial impact.


Strategic Thinking & Value Focus


• Strong background in strategy development, business case modelling, and benefit realization.
• Ability to frame problems, structure initiatives, and lead through ambiguity.


Stakeholder Management


• Executive presence with the ability to engage, influence, and align senior stakeholders across business and tech.
• Proven success in cross-functional collaboration and change enablement.


Delivery & Execution


• Experience leading programs or portfolios in agile/hybrid environments.
• Ability to drive initiatives from insight to implementation, often without formal authority.

Required Skills & Experience
• Business and AI Expertise
o Strong understanding of business operations in at least one or more domains: Support Functions (HR, Finance, Sourcing, Customer Support), Marketing, Product Development, or IT Operations.
o Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI/ML-driven solutions, automation platforms, and digital transformation programs.
• Strategic Thinking & Execution
o Proven ability to develop and execute strategy, prioritize complex initiatives, and drive measurable outcomes.
o Experience in business case development and ROI estimation.
• Stakeholder & Communication Skills
o Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and communicate with senior business and technical stakeholders.
o Ability to navigate across business and technology domains with confidence and clarity.
• Delivery & Leadership
o Strong experience in program/portfolio delivery, ideally in agile or hybrid environments.
o Able to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority and drive initiatives through ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in strategy, portfolio management, consulting, or transformation roles.
• Familiarity with AI platforms, enterprise architecture principles, and digital product lifecycle.
• Prior experience in global organizations or multi-market environments.​
