About this opportunity:
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled Backend Software Architect with expertise in Java Spring Boot and Python to join our innovative team. This will be a pivotal role in crafting and implementing large-scale backend solutions leveraging Microservices Architecture, containerization, and cloud-native technologies. You will architect, design, and develop robust backend systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the development lifecycle.
What you will do:
- Architect, design, develop, and integrate backend software components using Java Spring Boot and Python.
- Design, develop, and consume REST APIs in compliance with industry standards.
- Implement strong OOP principles and leverage multithreading for performance optimization.
- Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit for comprehensive test coverage.
- Build and containerize applications using Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes clusters with Helm.
- Apply deep understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Collaborate using GitLab for version control and contribute to CI/CD pipelines (knowledge of GitLab CI is a plus).
- Provide guidance on best practices in Agile software development, security implementations, and trade compliance.
The skills you bring:
- Expert knowledge of Java Spring Boot, REST API design, and microservices.
- Proficiency with Python for backend services or scripting.
- Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Development experience in *nix-based systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- IDE: VSCode (Visual Studio Code)
Experience:
- Education: B.E., BTech or equivalent
- 15 to 20+ years of relevant backend development and architecture experience.
