Head of Commercial Management Customer Unit (CU) Korea (KR) in Market Area North East Asia (MNEA) will be managing all Commercial Management team members in the country for the business of CUKR. This role reports line-wise into the Head of Commercial Management in MNEA and dotted-line into the Head of CUKR and shall be part of all two Unit’s Leadership Teams.
What you will do:
• Lead commercial management team in the CU dimension.
• Be key interface for CU Head and Key Account Managers and relevant CU Department Heads for any commercial matter.
• Establish and drive commercial strategy in line with business strategy in Korea for profitable and responsible growth.
• Develop and deploy price/business models and commercial directives.
• Provide end-to-end techno-commercial solutions and value argumentation to drive business, profitability and working capital management through effective pricing, proposal and contract management principles and ensure documentation and application.
• Drive techno-commercial new ways of driving sales for 5G and beyond, creating commercial strategies designed for business success.
• Support in defining commercial proposal strategy and in customer negotiations (including customer-facing interactions wherever applicable) to positively impact business outcome.
• Monitor and coordinate contractual terms & conditions with support of assigned Contract Manager(s).
• Drive commercial excellence and analyze trends and market dynamics with commercial focus.
• Drive commercial readiness in High Impact Deals and new portfolio due to change in market dynamics.
• Be part of Market Area community of Commercial Directors and share standard methodologies and best practices.
What you will bring
• University Degree in Business / Economics and/or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience from a relevant position with proven leadership within finance/commercial management/sales
• Financial, commercial and procurement acumen.
• Broad-based telecommunications industry knowledge.
• Market knowledge, competitor and customer insight.
• Knowledge of Ericsson solutions and offerings in Business Areas (for internal applicants)
• Strong negotiation, presentation & engagement skills.
• Risk Management skills.
• Consultative sales skills.
• Ability to learn and understand technical products and solutions.
• Experience of working with demanding customers and procurement units in a challenging business environment, along with credibility, integrity and seniority.
• Excellent leadership skills - an inclusive leadership style with experience of matrix leadership, a change agent and an influencer.
• Strategic orientation and creative mindset with ability to look ahead of the curve, understanding customer requirements and act to add value.
• Ability to continuously identify initiatives required to execute on Ericsson strategy effectively.
• Excellent orchestration, collaboration and facilitation skills, with an ability to include all voices, and drive strategy formulation and execution.
