About this opportunity
Are you passionate about the intersection of technology and regulation? Do you have strong communication and negotiation skills, along with a solid background in the ICT industry? We are looking for a professional to join our Spectrum and Technology Regulations team, part of the Standards and Industry Initiatives group within GFTL. This team plays a key role in driving and coordinating technology regulations and standards efforts within Ericsson, as well as in collaboration with industry stakeholders and organizations.
In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across different units to develop strategies and positions on technology regulation. You will represent Ericsson in relevant forums, respond to consultations, drive Ericsson strategies and contribute to shaping regulations in ways that support our products, and the industry at large.
What you will do
• Lead and coordinate efforts on technology regulation across internal teams.
• Develop Ericsson’s strategies and positions in partnership with other groups within the company.
• Ensure that regulations related to AI, Data, Radio, EMC, EMF, Safety, Product Security, Product Privacy, Sustainability, and more are harmonized regionally and globally, and favourable to Ericsson’s products.
• Advocate for Ericsson’s perspectives within industry bodies and relevant stakeholder groups as a means of proactively influencing regulations.
• Monitor global regulatory initiatives, participate where relevant, and secure outcomes in Ericsson’s best interests.
You will bring
• A university degree (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) with at least 5 years of ICT industry experience, ideally in R&D or related areas.
• A proven track record in technology regulation and/or standardization.
• Strong understanding of the Ericsson product portfolio and ICT industry trends.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively & cooperatively within a team.
• The capability to drive objectives in both internal and external settings.
• Awareness of customer and competitor business drivers.
• Leadership or strategic planning experience is an advantage.
