Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Senior Partner Account Manager to join our America’s Partner Organization. This role is responsible for developing and growing Ericsson’s revenue and mindshare within strategic resellers in the Central region. This person will work in partnership with a second partner account manager, our regional channel team and the field sales organization. The role reports directly to the Senior Director of Channel Sales for the West and Central region. Ericsson is looking for a high performer who is a team player, customer centric, accountable and seeks to consistently overachieve.

What Will You Do

  • Differentiate and grow the Ericsson business with our resell community to support our business goals and execute sales strategies specific to the Americas region
  • Develop, enable, and support resellers to drive partner sourced pipeline and revenue focused on new customer acquisition
  • Build joint business plans, lead business reviews and design lead generation campaigns that generate pipeline velocity
  • Identify and activate new partnership opportunities across industries
  • Provide executive alignment with key stakeholders in the partner base
  • Work closely with our field sales teams on development, tracking, and reporting goals and objectives, forecasts, key metrics and definitions of success with Ericsson’s strategic partnerships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal Ericsson organizations (sales, marketing, customer success, renewals, legal, finance) to deliver a world class experience for our partners

The Skills You Bring

  • Energetic, self-directed, detail oriented and passionate sales professional with 7+ years’ experience in partner account management, channel sales or alliances
  • Proven track record of success developing and growing partner revenue through joint business planning
  • Expertise in building channel networks and leveraging partner programs to drive revenue
  • Understanding and exposure to mature channel ecosystems (eg – Distribution, SI, MSP, technology alliances and carriers)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Established partner relationships and a willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time to accelerate sales
  • Expertise in the enterprise wireless, private cellular, telecom infrastructure would be a plus

Your Pay


The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

The salary range for this position is

• Chicago or any location in Illinois: $154,000 - $231,000

This role includes the opportunity for sales commissions as a part of the Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Variable Compensation Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance against sales targets and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules may apply.

Your Time


Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
