About this opportunity:

We are seeking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Government and Industry Relations expert at Ericsson. This key role actively shapes the legislative and regulatory environment to foster business growth both for Ericsson and our customers. The candidate will be responsible for strategic engagement and interaction with governments, authorities, and industry organizations, with a focus on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) policies, legislation, and trade regulations. This role will also play a crucial part in Sales Compliance, securing the Ericsson brand reputation and nurturing customer and investor trust.

What you will do:

- Influence government and industry policy, legislation, and regulations to optimize strategic growth opportunities.

- Fengage in high-level interactions with respective authorities and organizations to position Ericsson as a thought leader in the ICT sector.

- Provide strategic advice on legislative and regulatory matters to internal stakeholders.

- Develop and implement advocacy strategies and initiatives in accordance with Ericsson's business goals.

- Oversee sensitive business matters, ensuring aligned actions with our corporate values and guidelines.

- Foster customer and investor trust through thought leadership and expert advice in sales compliance.

The skills you bring:

- Exceptional understanding of ICT policies, legislation, and trade regulations.

- Proven experiences in government or industry relations.

- Strong strategic thinking and negotiation skills.

- Excellent networking and interpersonal abilities to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

- Admirable ability to manage sensitive business matters with discretion and integrity.

- Demonstrated leadership and advisory skills, able to instil trust and confidence among customers and investors.
