Today cybersecurity is a top priority for the telecom industry. Our customers experience cyber threats daily and we also see an increased amount of severe incidents and APTs. At the same time our networks are becoming cloud native and disaggregated increasing the complexity of managing security.
Ericsson is offering Cyber Defense Solutions (CDSs) to support our customers in their security challenges. The CDSs consists of Ericsson Security Manager (ESM) product providing security automation & orchestration, integrated with the security functions of the mobile network end-to-end. With the CDSs Ericsson is increasing the customer Zero Trust Architecture maturity. Ericsson Security Manager is also a key component for the programmable networks.
Job description
As Director, Threat Intelligence & Cyberdefense, you will…
- enhance and systematically develop world class Mobile Network Threat intelligence serving our customers
- drive threat driven cyber defense engineering strategy and ensures its direction on tactical level. This includes participating in threat intelligence analysis. You support ESM thought leaderships and marketing with insights, content creation and event participation
- support sales, marketing, technology & strategy, product management and product development to ensure ESM's best fit into customer's holistic cyber defense consisting of people, process and technology
- be responsible for the leadership team for deeply understanding telecom threat landscape and customer security people, processes and technology. You are responsible for ensuring Ericsson CDSs powered by ESM addresses relevant threats and fits into customers’ holistic cyber defense architecture
- actively co-operate with customer's mobile network security architects and threat intelligence functions, and cooperate effectively internally in Ericsson
- be responsible for identifying potential partnerships and industry alliances in the cyber security industry that benefit our customers and enriches the Ericsson Cyber Defense offering ESM

To be successful in this role you have…
- deep knowledge in Communications Service Provider (CSP) security engineering and operations
- strong experience in security technologies, people and processes
- deep understanding/experience of CSP security tools
- deep understanding in full trust stack (product security, security deployment and operations)
- experience in security product management and understanding in product development
- threat intelligence, competence, gathering, sharing, utilizing insights for product/business development
- strategic thinking and track record on how to collaborate with Product Management, Development, Delivery and Sales & Marketing
- passion to understanding market and customer needs, and turn these insights to product/business
- the ability to structure and synthetize value argumentation that differentiates Ericsson against next best alternative
- collaboration and team working skills, ability to drive and use a network of people and different competencies to reach success
- the ability to develop/lead plans, process and activation including key stakeholder management in complex/large organizations
- English proficiency (spoken and written)

You may also have…
- university degree in technology
- strong business acumen
- teaching/educating experience
- 7-10+ years’ experience including exposure to security business
- experience in working as a member of a multi-country leadership team
