About this opportunity:
We are currently looking for a Test Automation Developer to design, implement, and maintain innovative microservices-based applications. In this role, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, with a strong focus on test-driven development (TDD) and lean, agile practices. You will work in cross-functional, multi-domain teams that promote continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing to enable true DevOps.

What you will do:
- Analyze requirements for cloud-native microservices
- Drive application design and architecture decisions
- Design and implement automated test cases using Robot Framework
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate microservices-based applications in cloud infrastructures
- Apply test-driven development (TDD) practices throughout the development lifecycle
- Maintain and enhance software, ensuring effective lifecycle management of microservices and machine learning components via CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to product and security documentation
You will bring:
- At least 2 years of experience in backend development, test automation, or a related role
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native, microservices-based applications
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and S3
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
- Practical experience with TDD and testing tools, including:
- Unit testing (pytest)
- Functional backend testing (WireMock, Robot Framework)
- Frontend testing (Playwright)
- CI/CD (Jenkins)
- Experience with pub/sub systems (e.g., Kafka) is a plus
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Xray
- Understanding of ML DevOps is an advantage
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or an IT-related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive mindset and a collaborative attitude
