About this opportunity:
The Strategic Insights & Planning team develops novel capabilities to generate data-driven business- and network insights at scale, with the objective to create value for Ericsson and our customers.
Our team comprises cross-functional expertise across consulting, business analysis, network performance, data science, Gen/AI/ML and change management. This enables us to rapidly progress from idea to implementation to impact. We're looking for a Strategic Insights Sr Analyst to join us!

What you will do:
- Enable the generation of high-impact business insights through big data analytics, leveraging proprietary-, public- and third-party data setExport data sets to enable analysis and visualization e.g. through PowerBI, PPT etc.
- Drive automation data export to reduce cycle time and increase analytics capacity
- Define technical requirements and implement solutions for new analytics capabilities
- Navigate best practices and trends in Analytics & AI/ML, ensuring new capabilities are built with future needs in mind
- Secure back-end integration of key data sources & data sets into new analytics functionality
- Identify, diagnose and resolve data anomalies
- Support specification of R&D/3PP requirements
- Coordinate and align with similar efforts and functions within Ericsson
- Coach junior staff: help scale up and future-proof Ericsson’s capabilities in analytics & data science
The skills you bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in data science / analytics technology
- Experience building novel analytics methods and solutions to enable analysis of large data sets
- Thorough command of key analytics technologies incl Python, R, PowerBI, SQL, Excel, machine learning, dashboard creation (e.g. Grafana)
- End-to-end understanding of RAN technology and operations including RF engineering preferred
- Working knowledge of key RAN data sets preferred, e.g., Ookla/CellRebel, ENM, drive-test data
- Can-do attitude with passion for rapid development of robust solutions
- Experience collaborating with R&D and 3rd parties preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in technology or equivalent; Master’s preferred
