About this opportunity:

Become Ericsson’s next Line Manager: Be a part of leading real-world telecom innovation, shape critical infrastructure, and make a lasting impact on how people connect every day!


In this role you will be a 1st line manager and your main tasks will be to secure Ericsson technology leadership and make sure that we have the right Equipment and Resource Handling product to secure Ericsson’s long- and short-term objectives. You will mentor, challenge and develop individuals, teams and the organization, influencing a creative and learning culture.
A large part of your work will be spent in tight co-operation in your section and our leadership team, and with other parts of Ericsson. This requires a keen interest in people and an ability to empower teams. We also expect you to have the gift and courage of simplifying complex structures, to develop competence and innovation.

You must have a good understanding of agile and lean R&D development. You will be interested in the quality and evolvement of our product and the programs that we contribute to. Our product is developed by many teams on different sites and in different programs.

What will you do

  • Lead and mentor 2-3 cross-functional development teams of software engineers and related roles.
  • Contribute to the roadmap and quality of the CAT ERC product (Common Architecture Tier – Equipment and Resource Control), aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Create a culture of collaboration and end-to-end perspective from systemization to verification in the teams.
  • Be an active contributor in our geographically wide leadership team with focus on both your section and our department perspectives.
  • Drive continuous improvements.

The skills you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in software development, with a proven track record of leadership and product ownership.
  • Significant experience in leading cross functional design teams, ensuring seamless collaboration in a fast-paced and agile environment.
  • A strong business mindset and to drive and reach the objectives and targets set for your unit.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English.
  • Understanding of 5G NR, LTE RAN technologies and Cloud RAN architectures is a plus.
