About this opportunity:

Are you ready to build the future of cloud-native telecom systems? Join our newly forming team as a CI/CD Engineer and take part in shaping the continuous integration and delivery architecture for Ericsson’s cutting-edge MTAS (Multimedia Telephony Application Server) and CSCF (Call Session Control Function) platforms.

We are looking for a skilled CI/CD Engineer to design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline software delivery, improve system reliability, and automate deployment processes. Ideal candidates have experience with DevOps tools, scripting, cloud platforms, and a strong focus on automation and performance.

PDG MTAS&CSCF is an exciting place to be, with international teams spread in different countries Kista-Sweden, Budapest-Hungary and Bangalore-India and suppliers in India and Vietnam; where we work closely with customer units as well as few key customers and where we are in a portfolio transformation into 5G.

What you will do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native IMS products
  • Integrate automated build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments
  • Ensure code quality with unit tests, integration tests, and security scans
  • Automate deployment across development, test, and production
  • Manage DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Artifactory
  • Work with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and optimize system performance
  • Collaborate daily with developers and testers in an agile, international team
  • Contribute to the stability, reliability, and scalability of telecom cloud infrastructure

The skills you bring:

Must-Haves:

  • 3–5+ years in a DevOps or CI/CD engineering role
  • Strong Linux system administration skills
  • Proficiency in Python, Perl, and Bash scripting
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Artifactory
  • Familiarity with CI/CD architecture, version control strategies, and pipeline optimization
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field
  • Solid command of English (written and spoken)

Nice-to-Have / Learn-on-the-Job:

  • Experience in Telco Cloud environments
  • Knowledge of telecom protocols and IMS/VoLTE systems
  • Advanced monitoring and pipeline analytics techniques
