Ericsson BNEW SAN Tools est l'organisation de R&D chargée de développer des outils qui permettent aux réseaux de zone de service (SAN) BNEW de fournir une nouvelle génération de services de portefeuille, soutenant ainsi nos clients dans leur transition vers Open RAN.
Pour répondre aux exigences changeantes de cette transformation, une nouvelle vague d'outils logiciels doit être créée à partir de zéro, en tirant parti des tendances technologiques modernes telles que l' architecture cloud-native et une approche de conception axée sur l'IA .
Dans ce rôle, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la conception et le développement de la prochaine génération d'outils du portefeuille de services ORAN, permettant la vision de réseaux autonomes.
Ce que vous ferez :
- Gardez une longueur d'avance sur les technologies émergentes et les tendances qui façonnent l'avenir des réseaux de télécommunications, en veillant à ce qu'Ericsson BNEW SAN Tools reste à la pointe de l'innovation.
- Concevez et proposez des architectures logicielles évolutives, sécurisées et performantes qui permettent la prochaine génération de services de réseau Open RAN et autonomes.
- Défendez les principes de conception Cloud-Native et AI-First dans le développement de nouveaux outils et plateformes.
- Dirigez les initiatives architecturales au sein d'équipes logicielles interfonctionnelles, en collaborant étroitement avec les propriétaires de produits, les équipes DevOps et les équipes de science des données pour fournir des systèmes intelligents, résilients et efficaces.
- Définir et appliquer des normes d'architecture, des meilleures pratiques et des directives techniques pour assurer la durabilité et la maintenabilité à long terme.
- Encadrer les équipes d'ingénierie et assurer la direction technique tout au long du cycle de développement logiciel, de l'idéation à la production.
- Contribuer à la feuille de route technologique stratégique, en conseillant la haute direction sur les opportunités d'innovation logicielle alignées sur les objectifs commerciaux.
Les compétences que vous apporterez :
- Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en informatique, en génie logiciel ou dans un domaine connexe.
- 10+ ans d'expérience en développement de logiciels et en architecture de systèmes distribués à grande échelle, idéalement dans le domaine des télécommunications ou des réseaux d'entreprise.
- Expérience avérée dans la conception de systèmes utilisant :
- Technologies natives du cloud (par exemple, Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, maillage de services)
- Intégration IA/ML pour la gestion intelligente ou l'automatisation du réseau
- API RESTful, architectures pilotées par les événements et systèmes de messagerie
- Pipelines CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarité avec les concepts Open RAN, l'architecture 5G et les cadres modernes d'automatisation des réseaux.
- Solide compréhension des considérations de sécurité, d'évolutivité et de performance dans la conception de logiciels.
- Excellentes compétences en communication, en leadership et en collaboration pour favoriser l'alignement de l'architecture entre les équipes mondiales.

Ericsson BNEW SAN Tools is the R&D organization responsible for developing tools that empower the BNEW Service Area Networks (SAN) in delivering a new generation of portfolio services, supporting our customers in their transition to Open RAN.
To meet the evolving demands of this transformation, a new wave of software tools must be built from the ground up, leveraging modern technology trends such as Cloud-Native Architecture and an AI-first approach by design.
In this role, you will play a key part in designing and developing the next-generation ORAN Services Portfolio tools, enabling the vision of autonomous networks.
What you will do
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends that are shaping the future of telecom networks, ensuring Ericsson BNEW SAN Tools remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Design and propose scalable, secure, and high-performing software architectures that enable the next generation of Open RAN and autonomous network services.
- Champion Cloud-Native and AI-First design principles in the development of new tools and platforms.
- Lead architectural initiatives across cross-functional software teams, collaborating closely with product owners, DevOps, and data science teams to deliver intelligent, resilient, and efficient systems.
- Define and enforce architecture standards, best practices, and technical guidelines to ensure long-term sustainability and maintainability.
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, from ideation to production.
- Contribute to the strategic technology roadmap, advising senior leadership on software innovation opportunities aligned with business objectives.
The skills you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software development and architecture experience in large-scale, distributed systems, ideally in the telecom or enterprise networking domain.
- Proven experience in designing systems using:
Cloud-native technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, service mesh)
AI/ML integration for intelligent network management or automation
RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems
CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Familiarity with Open RAN concepts, 5G architecture, and modern network automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance considerations in software design.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills to drive architecture alignment across global teams.

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of the Deluxe medical and dental plan coverages for themselves and eligible covered dependents.
Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson’s Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee’s contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee’s contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, 3-5 personal days (depending on role), 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and unlimited sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
