Ericsson seeks a Strategy Mngt/Senior Market Intelligence Analyst in Plano, Texas; hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance, who will serve to Analyze key industry and technology trends that impact or have the potential to impact Ericsson North America’s business or customers by conducting primary and secondary research

What you will do:

Analyze key industry and technology trends that impact or have the potential to impact Ericsson North America’s business or customers by conducting primary and secondary research. Collaborate with regional and global teams across Ericsson to gather, structure and analyze market information and deliver the resulting intelligence analysis to all relevant stakeholders. Develop content in the form of presentations, word documents, market and financial models and other deliverables that incorporate key research findings and implications to be consumed by a diverse group of stakeholders: from executive leadership, to sales, to product owners. Build models of key competitive/business metrics such as market sizing across lines of business, CapEx development, market share. Contribute to major group deliverables including our Annual Business planning process, and quarterly Situation Analysis documents. Develop and use variety of information sources such as 3rd party analyst and broker research, primary research, and corporate assets (Business Areas and Group BI). Devise innovative ways to retrieve market intelligence. Support strategy and execution of targeted new business opportunities by developing foresight and insights in new areas, to explore new growth options. Drive development, alignment and anchoring of strategies at group or unit level. Drive strategic questions to decisions and implementation, present and discuss strategies/insights with internal and external audiences, improve strategy process methodology and development of strategy community. Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance.

You will bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field and 3 years of experience in the Telecommunications industry as a strategy and market intelligence analyst. 3 years of experience to include: analyzing network deployment trends including both domestic and international; working on key use cases in consumer and enterprise sectors, including private networks, network slicing, AR/VR services; strategic planning cycles, scenario analysis, and operational alignment; performing data visualization and dashboard creation using Power BI and Tableau tools to create interactive telecom market dashboards; and building models for key competitive and business metrics, including market sizing across lines of business, CapEx development, and market share analysis.
