Are you a detail-oriented mechanical engineer with a passion for innovative product integration? Do you enjoy transforming complex technical requirements into reliable, high-performance hardware?

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Antenna System Integration to join our expert team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in shaping the next generation of base station antennas by analyzing mechanical and environmental requirements, driving standardization, and ensuring compliance with top industry standards.

What you will do

  • Analyze mechanical and environmental requirements and verification processes for base station antennas and remote radio products
  • Investigate opportunities for cost and time optimization in design and production
  • Update and simplify current templates and documents to support standardization
  • Define mechanical requirement documents for antenna systems and assist project teams in achieving compliance
  • Support EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and LVD (Low Voltage Directive) risk assessments for base station antennas

The skills you bring

  • Expertise in selecting and designing with materials such as metals, PCBs, dielectrics, and foils
  • Solid understanding of mechanical design principles and high-performance component integration
  • Proven experience in mechanical design
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards (IEC, NEBS, UL, etc.)
  • Familiarity with product safety standards is a plus
  • Experience working within interdisciplinary teams
  • Collaborative team spirit and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German
