About this opportunity

Join Ericsson as a Commercial Manager and become a leader in securing both short and long-term profitable business for our Customer Units in Japan. As an integral member of our team, you will handle critical commercial matters while partnering with Business Area teams to create foundations for business decisions. Your analytical skills and negotiation expertise will support you as you deploy new commercial models and develop strategies to enable sustainable revenue and profitability.

What you will do

  • Work as team with Core 3+ in defining commercial Proposal Strategy and in customer negotiations.
  • Participate actively in sales engagements (including customer facing interactions wherever applicable) to positively impact the business outcome.
  • Be part of Market Area Community of Commercial Management and share and learn standard methodologies and best practices.
  • Understand overall Japan business strategy and incorporate into respective deal engagements, beyond just dealing with individual engagements.
  • Contribute in financial plan activities, having it for mid/long term commercial strategy.
  • Provide end to end techno-commercial solutions to drive business, profitability and working capital management through effective pricing, proposal and contract management principles.
  • Development and deployment of price/business models and commercial directives including alternative commercial/price models for profitable and sustainable growth to capture the value of our portfolio.
  • Understand impact of Terms & Conditions as part of commercial proposal.
  • Challenger mind set and self-leadership to challenge the current norm and learn & adapt with Ericsson core values.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and global sales process/governance with sales team.

The things you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business / Economics and/or Engineering.
  • 5+ Years of experience in customer interfacing role.
  • Good understanding of commercial & sales principles
  • Basic financial and contractual T&C how those impact on our business
  • Understanding of Market & industrial trending and competition landscape.
  • Knowledge of Ericsson Solutions & Offerings in Business Areas
  • Presentation & Consultative Communication skills
  • Risk Management skills
