About this opportunity:
Are you passionate about building scalable, secure cloud environments and working in a highly collaborative international team? Join Ericsson’s Cloud Center of Excellence, where we empower our development teams with cutting-edge tools, best practices, and robust cloud blueprints (IaC, DevSecOps, AWS, Azure).
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing our cloud operational capabilities, hardening account security, and evolving our CI/CD pipeline standards. You’ll be part of a high-performing, friendly, and globally distributed team committed to innovation and excellence.
What You’ll Do:
- Contribute to and enhance our Operational Plane artifacts (monitoring, logging, backup, patch management).
- Improve and maintain our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps blueprints.
- Analyze and implement cloud account hardening solutions and assist other teams in adoption.
- Refine and expand developer-facing artifacts and resources on our Development Portal.
- Participate in agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and grooming sessions.
- Actively engage in project-specific meetings and report progress or blockers to the team.
- Take ownership of your tasks and drive outcomes aligned with team goals.
Must-Haves:
- Basic understanding and hands-on exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with GitLab DevSecOps pipelines and understanding of its basic stages.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or a strong motivation to learn.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting mindset.
- Outcome-driven approach and sense of accountability.
Nice-to-Haves:
- AWS or Azure certifications.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and potential for future leadership.
- Experience working in a cross-functional, agile development environment.
